About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access periodical dedicated to advancing knowledge in its field. It publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, and short communications that make a significant contribution to theory and practice. All submissions are evaluated for scientific rigour, originality and international relevance.
Peer Review Policy
The Journal operates a double-anonymized peer review process: the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review. Each manuscript is first assessed by the editor for scope and compliance, then sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript's scientific quality. The typical first-decision time is 4-8 weeks.
Publication Frequency
The Journal publishes on a regular basis (issues per year to be confirmed). Accepted articles are assigned a DOI and published in the current issue.
Open Access Policy
This is an open-access journal: all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain copyright.
Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The Journal is committed to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties - authors, editors and reviewers - are expected to comply with these standards. Plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission and undisclosed conflicts of interest are strictly prohibited. All submissions are screened for similarity. Allegations of misconduct are investigated in accordance with COPE flowcharts, and articles may be corrected or retracted where necessary.
Archiving
The Journal uses the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems together with the PKP Preservation Network to create distributed archiving among participating libraries, permitting permanent preservation and restoration of content.
Article Processing Charges
Any article submission, processing or publication charges are stated transparently here (to be confirmed by the publisher).
Indexing
The Journal follows international editorial standards with the aim of indexing in Scopus and Web of Science. Every article carries complete English-language metadata, references and a registered DOI.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board comprises recognised experts with international affiliation. Full names, affiliations and ORCID identifiers are listed on the Editorial Team page.
